The Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs (MJLA) (Arabic: وزراة العدل والشؤون القانونية) is the governing body of the Sultanate of Oman responsible for drafting laws, providing legal advice to other government agencies and regulating the legal profession. This is the result of the merger of the Department of Justice and the Department of Justice in August 2020.
